No, but you can absolutely start Sonlight mid-year.

One of the benefits of homeschooling is the ability to begin and end your school year when it best fits your family schedule. Whether your choose to begin school in the fall, or after the holidays, or at some other time during the course of the year, you have the freedom to plan your year from that point.
